Delete your Unit List account
You can permanently delete your Unit List account and your personal data at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and how long it takes.
Delete your account in the app
The quickest way is directly in Unit List, on the web or in the mobile app:
- 1Log in to Unit List at unitlist.co.uk, or open the mobile app.
- 2Open your own Profile.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- 4Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete my account.
Your account and profile are deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Before you delete: subscriptions
If you pay for Unit List Premium, how your billing stops depends on where you subscribed.
Subscribed on the web (card payment)
Your subscription is cancelled automatically when you delete your account. You will not be charged again.
Subscribed through an app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
Deleting your Unit List account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. You must cancel it yourself in your device's subscription settings, or the store will keep charging you.
If you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad before deleting. On Android, cancel in Play Store › Subscriptions. We cannot cancel an app store subscription on your behalf, this is controlled by Apple and Google.
Deleting your account does not refund the current billing period. If you need help, email admin@unitlist.co.uk.
Delete only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual items yourself at any time: remove photos from your gallery, delete credits from your filmography, delete your posts, and remove your uploaded CV. You can also edit or clear the details on your profile.
If you would prefer us to delete specific data for you, email admin@unitlist.co.uk from the email address registered to your account. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, country, location, roles, department, bio and other professional details
- Your photos and portfolio content
- Your credits and filmography
- Your activity: messages, conversations, follows, endorsements, favourites, job applications and feed posts
What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it or for legitimate business purposes, for example transaction and billing records needed for tax and accounting. This data is deleted once those retention obligations expire.
Timeframe
Deletions made in the app take effect immediately. Requests sent by email are actioned within 30 days.
If you cannot access your account
If you are locked out or cannot sign in, email admin@unitlist.co.uk from the email address registered to your account. We will verify that you own the account and process your deletion request within 30 days.
